"SoyCANweeeee!" giant Canstruction Pig at the Nebraska State Fair
What: Nebraska Pork Producers Associations and Nebraska Soybean will Exhibit a giant Canstruction Pig at the Nebraska State Fair. This most unique9,000 plus food can project, nine months in the planning,is dedicated to fighting hunger and bringing awareness to the needs of the thousands of individuals that face food insecurity on a daily bases in Nebraska. The completed Construction®will make its public appearance at the Nebraska State Fair in the Exhibition Hall. Pork and Soybean farmers will be joined by Governor Dave Heinemanwho will visit the 8 foot pig food construction on Monday, August 27, 2012, at 1:45 p.m.

Iowa Food and Family "Back to the Farmer" Canstruction Exhibit
What: The Iowa Food & Family Project’s “Back to the Farmer” exhibit and agricultural awareness experience your first stop at this year’s fair, to be held Aug. 9-19! The one-of-a-kind, must-see exhibit, located in the south atrium of the Varied Industries Building, will feature one a Back to the Future-esque car made entirely out of canned food.
