Canstruction Joins America’s Second Harvest to Ring NASDAQ Bell 05/25/2008 - As a valued contributor, America’s Second Harvest invited Canstruction to join them in ringing the NASDAQ closing bell on Thanksgiving Eve, November 21st, at NASDAQ’s headquarters in Times Square, New York City. Canstruction Executive Director, Cheri Melillo along with SDA New York Chapter BOD and Canstruction committee members Michele Maestri and Patricia Leyden represented Canstruction. |

Clinton Presidential Library Hosts Little Rock Competition 04/30/2008 - The William J. Clinton Presidential Center’s Great Hall played host to the 2008 Little Rock Canstruction Competition to benefit the Arkansas Foodbank Network. This is the Center’s second year hosting the exhibition. The First Lady of Arkansas, Mrs. Ginger Beebe, was on hand to present the awards. |

Goya goes Canstruction 04/07/2008 - Goya Foods of Secaucus, NJ, asked Canstruction, Inc. to build a structure as the centerpiece of their first Distributors Conference. Over 500 distributors were flying in from South and North America for the event. Their logo, Goya Worldwide, was a perfect match for Canstruction to design a giant globe of the world. A team of NYC designers and volunteers came together to adopt a globe initially created by McGill Smith Punshon of Cincinnati, OH. |

President/Executive Director, Cheri Melillo, was thrilled to be on hand for opening festivities at the 6th Annual Vancouver Canstruction Competition hosted at Vancouver’s Cruise Ship Terminal, February 22 - 26. Cheri arrived just in time to cheer on the 21 fearless teams as they hustled to erect their structures. |
